Oxford Summer Program Rules & Regulations
Understand the code of conduct, attendance and curfew rules, disciplinary procedures, and respect-based community guidelines that keep the Oxford Summer Program safe, inclusive, and academically focused for all participants.

Night-time Restrictions
All students are required to remain on the premises from 9 pm onwards, with curfew starting at 10:30 pm, when all summer program students are expected to return to their dorms. Our staff ensures that everyone is safely checked in before the set curfew time. Within the premises, students are free to use the common rooms, watch television, and socialise in a relaxed and secure environment. For added safety, staff members are on-site and available throughout the night should any student require assistance.
Proper Conduct
Students are expected to maintain decorum and adhere to all rules while in the residential complex. Excessive noise, misuse of property, or any form of anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Respect for fellow students, staff, and the environment is essential. Violations may lead to disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the program.

Respect for Diversity
We are committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community. Students must treat everyone with respect, regardless of background, culture, or beliefs. Any form of bullying, harassment, or discrimination will result in serious consequences, including potential expulsion.
Strictly Prohibited
Students must agree that they will not purchase, possess, or consume alcohol or drugs at any time during the program. All program activities and premises, including outdoor spaces, are strictly non-smoking. Violations of these rules will result in immediate expulsion, and the student will be sent home. Parents will be notified immediately, and any associated costs will be borne by the student’s family.

Attendance & Participation
Students are required to attend all scheduled classes, workshops, and activities, unless they have prior permission from a staff member. Punctuality and active participation are expected to ensure everyone gains the most from the program.
Safety & Security
The safety of our students is our top priority. Students are expected to follow safety guidelines during all activities, including excursions. Any failure to comply with safety instructions may lead to disciplinary measures. Our on-site staff is available 24/7 to address any concerns or emergencies, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

Use of Personal Devices
Mobile phones, laptops, and other electronic devices are permitted, but their use should not disrupt classes, activities, or rest periods. Devices must be kept on silent during scheduled activities. The program is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal electronics.
Visitiors
For safety reasons, visitors are not permitted in the residential areas without prior approval from the program staff. Any approved visits must take place in designated common areas and during specified hours. For students under the age of 18, only family members are permitted as visitors, and program leaders must be informed in advance. The institute must also receive an email or written permission confirming the visit.

Personal Belogings
Students are responsible for the security of their personal possessions. Valuables should be stored securely, and it is recommended that students avoid bringing unnecessary high-value items. The program is not liable for lost or stolen property.
Health & Medical Needs
Students or their guardians must inform staff in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or required medications. All prescription medications must be registered with the program’s Health and Safeguarding Lead upon arrival. In the event of illness or injury, staff will arrange medical assistance and promptly notify parents or guardians. We strongly recommend that all program participants obtain comprehensive medical and travel insurance prior to the program.

Emergency Procedures
Students must familiarise themselves with emergency exits, assembly points, and safety instructions upon arrival. In the event of an emergency, they must follow staff instructions at all times.
